Does anyone know of a color checker card, like a Macbeth color checker, but ONLY has 3 colors - white, 50% gray and black? I don't want/need the other colors. Optimally I'd like it to be small like a 4x6 or 5x7 in size. There is a cheapo cardboard card that comes in back of a book I got but the card isn't durable and I'd like to get something to replace it.

if you get the book "The photoshop book for digital photographers" (great book I might add) there is a tear out in the back.

Hope it helps

Dan, I have that card and book. I made mention to it the post but I couldn't remember the title of the book.

It is a good card but its just made of lightweight cardboard and thus not very durable. I want that, larger and more durable.

You could take the card to Kinko's and have it laminated, although that would also make it shiny, or you could glue it to a piece of acrylic (or similar) plastic such as can be bought at a Home Depot or Lowe's.

The studio I work for got ours from Millers Professional Imaging. I believe they call it a "Zebra Card". You might be able to get one from them.

Good Luck!

Might check Amazon.com and search "Kodak grey card" or something along that line as I saw them listed there recently, (past few months). I'm thinking they were under books > photography
