Can anyone explain to me how to do this. I do have Photoshop 6.0, but I have not been able to figure out how to do this. It adds a touch of class to a black and white photo.
Thanks
Regards,
Otto

In Photoshop (you may want to create a dupe of your image so you still have the original) go to Image>Adjustments>Desaturate, this will make the image B&W. Now go to Edit>Fade Desaturation, and once opened you can set the slider to whatever, the smaller the number, the more color or less desat to the image.

Oh, thank you very much. I will use that, but what I am looking for is, lets say you have a photo headshot of a model and all you want to do is enhance only her eyes and lips. Is that possible?
Thanks

then select those areas first with your lasso tool. You can also adjust whether its a hard edge selection or a soft edge.

hope this helps,

Stu
