if you have any tips on fixing the problem. That is the main reason I am thinking of changing. I wish I would be in a position to keep it and purchase an S2 but my situation does not allow it.

I have, on occasion, screwed a +2 or +4 close-up filter onto the lens to cut down on the depth of field.

No way I could have gotten this shallow depth of field without it.

David,

If you wouldnt mind answering, do you know an APROXIMATE percentage of the photos on your website that may have been shot with the E-20?

Those are some VERY impressive shots BTW.

And could you explain the method for shallowing depth of feild by using the close up filters? Is that (im assuming) something you can only do when actually shooting close up?

Im asking because I own an E-10.

I owned an E-10 for a year and a half. The shutter died at 17,647 frames. It turns out the shutter is designed for approx 20,000 exposures. That being said, I loved the E-10. It was simple to use, and captured great images

I've had the opportunity to borrow a friends S-1 on several occasions. Great camera, great images.

When the E-10 died, I was in the position to purchase something a little better. I now use a Nikon D-100. It's the first digital camera to exceed my expectations, and I have some pretty high expectations.
