You and I just love to have this fight, don't we? It's my personal opinion that after using both the D100 is better if for no other reason than the menus. As much fun as obscure pictographs are, I'm all about me some actual english words. Although in my honest opinion they both sorta suck. D1X OR BUST BABY, WOO!
