A question on digital use due to JT's question

JT,

You mentioned Ansel Adams and his lab work, you also make mention of PS.
I always thought that what was important was your vision of creating an image, that all that other stuff is part of the creative process.
Be it digital or film or Polaroid, are we now judged by whatever medium we use to create an image?

What is a purist? Are there any "photography purist" left? (I don't think I know many folks who shoot Daguerrotypes or glass plates and use a mercury based developer anymore).

Mediums change, tools change, but I think what's important is one's vision and the final product, the image itself. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
