their Digital flash for the SD9 and made it would mounts for all the other digital cameras...it will work just like the SB-80dx even D-TTL and is only 190 as opposed to 360..also has a higher power out put 165gn to the 80dx flash 125gn

Seems like everyone is trying to make the accessories universal. I have an EF-500 Super (not DG) that is larger than the SB-80 and not as well made. The SB-80 has a metal foot and lock that is a lever.

As for power, I'm not sure that the Sigma actually has a higher GN. Sigma rates theirs at the 105mm position while Nikon rates it at 35mm. I found that at least with Metz, Nikon was actually had a higher GN. I suspect the same is true with Sigma.

Thanks,
Israel

Good point.. I actually have no complaints about the Sig flash, just preferences, although I like the buttons on the Sigma better than Nikons.

I bought mine almost two years ago and it's been a really good unit that I keep in my bag as a backup.

Later,
Israel

I have been using a Metz 54-MZ3 with my F100 and I absolutely love it! It has great power output and works with all functions of the F100. Metz has done me right every time!

Just my .02 cents!

Good day!

Mike
