But they are pretty cranky about sticking anything in or through their printer that didn't start out life with an Epson logo on the box......
And if you call their help line they'll tell you that if it's not an Epson product they can't help you. I know a guy that bought a 2200 because he demanded "real archival" products and some article (probably written by an Epson employee) said that it was Epson or NOTHING. What a mess he had trying to print with non-Epson products. I don't think it was that much better with Epson products.
One thing I noticed over the past year talking to Epson 2200 owners? The only ones not having color problems are printing from a Mac.
