Would anyone know why alt 0 169 will not bring up a copyright symbol on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. My daughter just went to a Mac, and she gave me her one year old laptop, and no matter what I try, I cant get the © symbol to come up.

(Try to keep the Mac vs Windows jokes to a minimum) ; )

Thanks,

Bob

Note that the 0169 has to be typed on the numeric keypad. On y laptop the numeric keypad is overlaid on some regular keys and I access it by pressing the Fn key. So, you'd need to hold down ALT+FN and type the 0169.

Make sure the numeric lock is on then use the numeric keyboard to type in 0169. On my IBM that would be MJO9. You can't use the number keys across the top.
