I have a Nikon D1x and a set of Novatron lights. I would like to get a Pocket WizardII, but I need info on how many to get and what kind of set up I would do. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

You need one sender and one receiver for each of your lights. You can get the plus' which are transceivers and can work for send and receive.

Depending upon what you set up looks like, you can get away with fewer if you use an optical flash sensor on each flash or power pack.

You didn't mention the Novatron model. If it is an older model you might need a Wein Safesync to protect the receiver from high trigger voltage. Check carefully.

Thanks for the reply and help. I have the Novatron D1500 set. Will I need 2 pocket wizards and how do they set up. I had been using film with a sync cord and I am just venturing into digital and would like to go wireless.
