Really think I need to learn how to adjust/modify skin tones. Anybody have a good reference or can point me in the right direction? Thanks

This should get you started:

http://www.sublime-light.com/index.p...ng-skin-tones/

http://www.photokaboom.com/photograp...one_method.htm

http://tutorials.lombergar.com/basic...djustment.html

All off the first page of a google search. You'll have to hit the 46,000 others on your own. Have fun!

Book: Skin: The Complete Guide to Digitally Lighting, Photographing, and Retouching Faces and Bodies [Embedded Amazon affiliate link]

I own and highly recommend "Skin: The Complete Guide to Digitally Lighting, Photographing, and Retouching Faces and Bodies" by Lee Varis.

FWIW, I also find Mr. Varis's book accessible, thorough, and filled with useful information. The man clearly knows what he's writing about.

Yeah I agree if Lee doesnt mention it then its not worth learning. By far the reference manual for what you want.
