Does anyone have recommendations or pros/cons for using black plexi versus black formica (matte surface?)for glamour photography reflections...also what size works best to reflect the entire person? Thanks!

I've been using a sheet of gloss black arbourite for product work for quite some time now. Works great. Much harder to scratch then plexi and when I'm not using it, it rolls up in a 2' roll and stands in the corner. I also use a mat white sheet for small product work instead of paper, lasts forever and wipes up. Largest sheets avail. are 4X8 which might not be big enough for what you have in mind.

Any idea on cost or where I can get this arbourite? I want to replace my plexi. It's awfully scratched.
Thanks,

You should be able to get arbourite at any home center. Lowes, Rona, Home Depot, etc. It's a very common countertop finish. I've used it on theatre flats for portable walls to shoot people against.
