I am looking to upgrade my monitor for use with CS3. I'd like to get an idea what others are using. I don't use Apple but a fairly beefy HP tower. I use a Huey for calibration ( I dont do this professionally ).

I just bought a Viewsonic VS12132 (22" LCD) for just under $300 US at Frys.

Sorry, I have no answer to your question but I would like to know how well the Huey works for monitor calibration. I've been thinking about buying one too. Thanks.

I would only go with a Monitor that has 1900 x 1200 resolution, which will leave out the 22" and under Monitors..

Just go with a name brand, I have a Dell 24", but I saw some nice ones recently by Samsung, ViewSonic, etc...

Try Costco...

and I reworked this photo on my 24" Dell (connected to a Mac Pro)...

Regards to the Huey. It's helped a lot. I recently purchased a PIXMA 9000 and am coming to appreciate color management a lot more. Not as big as the magazine photo's would appear. About the same as a small pen. Couldnt be easier to use. Clean your screen, let the monitor run for about 30 minutes stick it on the monitor (6 tiny suction cups) and let the program run. Comes with a cradle to let you continually monitor room light. Watch the wire, it's rather thin and if you're not careful pulling it out of the cradle you could rip the wire out of the device. So far with my HP monitor it has proven worth every penny ($85 US). There's an upgrade you can get, not sure my skills justify it just yet.
