Hey all this is driving me nuts. here is a screenshot of a pic in photoshop opened as a RAW file also to the right is a preview of the image in RAW viewer when i run the RAW image through DXO i get the redish color.. when i open the processed jpeg in PS it looks brown however when i print from PS the image is red again but a lille bit more red than the preview but it is close.. i am using the paper manufacturers printer profile MOAB colorado gloss.. read and reseached... tried adobe colorspace and srgb. i have a pile of hair on my desk from the aggravation. never really printed much but just picked up a pro9500 canon and i get quite a surprise. to me it seems as if PS is getting bogus color information...
I hope i misread something and therei s a simple fix or a setting change. shooting a 5D set to srgb colorspace.

ps color

Have you calibrated your monitor and selected the created profile as the color choice in Photoshop? If not, that's one thing I'd recommend. I'm not familiar with using DXO, but I wonder if there are any preferences regarding color space in it.

As far as the color matching between photoshop and print, I believe a color profile must be created for the printer to use - at least that's my impression from what I've seen/read here and there (I use a lab for my prints - as long as my monitor's calibrated correctly they look fine).

I'm sure there are folks here who know more about this, but that's my two cents.

You must recreate an image in PS then print this image once again.
