Do I need a model release for celebrity photos taken at concerts, to be posted on my portfolio? (eg. Tony Bennett, Manhattan Transfer etc).

Were they performing or in attendance? If in attendance, then no, as it was a public venue. If performing, what are the ticket restrictions? In other words were you informed that no image capture was allowed?

How much money do you want in invest in these marginally valuable photos? They have more money to hassle you with lawyers.
