CS2 and Nikon D3 Raw Files? Has anyone had luck with CS2 and D3 raw files, not finding an update for them. I assume I have to upgrade to CS3? Thanks for any help.

Not 100% true, but highly recommended. You can download the free stand alone RAW to DNG converter. Then convert your files from NEF to DNG. Those are universal and CS2 will open them fine.

You'll have much better luck and performance with CS3. I know I do with my D3...

Ditto what Scott said .............. or use Nikon Capture NX for your Raw conversion before saving as TIFF and final processing in CS2.

Did you get the free copy of Capture NX supplied with your D3?
