Here is the uint I am looking at:
MBT Fogzilla Fog Machine

http://www.stagelightingstore.com/s....0?it=A&id=5764

Priced at just under $50. I know nothing about fog machines. It will be inside mostly for high school sessions.

Do these things leave residue all over the place? Is this enough fog...3,000 cfm.. sounds like a lot to me.

Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hey Ben, I have the same fogger (different name but looks exactly the same). The first time I used it I really cranked it up ... and it filled the entire room so much that I could hardly see the model ... and when I took a shot, the strobes lit up the fog and whited out the shot. Being a clever guy, I turned a small fan on the model to blow the smoke off her, but it just blew the fog away from her and all over ME! LOL! I found that the fogger works best if you give the fog button a short pulse until you get a nice ground cover (or more if you need it) ... and keep the fog mostly behind the model. backlighting the fog also produces a better look, and colored gels look nice.

Good luck,

Thanks Marty.

What about residue? Also, this unit has a remote off/on switch, and I was figuring on short blasts of fog. I read the data on the juice and it stated that on rare occasions some people might have a reaction if overexposed to it.. I am not sure what overexposed is.. LOL My seniors will not be as "overexposed" as some of your lovely ladies..
