I shoot with the 20D and most of the time I shoot RAW. However, today I shot some images using JPEG. When I opened the images, it appears that they were already sharpened. So, I opened a few of the RAW images in Camera RAW then converted and saved them to JPEG, same problem. My in camera color space is sRGB, my working space in CS2 is also sRGB. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

The JPG images receive sharpening based on one of the parameter settings in the Camera. RAW images also get sharpened by the RAW converter unless you specifically set it not to do any sharpening. You can also set the RAW converter to not do any sharpening but show the previews as if they were sharpened. So you do not have a problem, but just need to check the settings you have for the sharpen parameter in the 20D and as well how you have the Sharpening options set in the RAW converter.
Cheers,
rfs

ACR has the option to sharpen only the preview or apply sharpening during the conversion. I always opt to sharpen my images at the end of the editing cycle depending on the output medium and image size.

Check the preferences in CS2 ACR to make sure that sharpening is on only for previewing the image in ACR. On the PC Ctrl-K while ACR is active will bring up the preferences window.

I experimented a lot with the workflow on the RAW conversion sharpening question. I ultimately opted for a very light sharpening in RAW (especially in CS3 which has more control of aspects of the process). I then do selective sharpening in PS and final sharpening when saving out the final output (with, as you suggest, different settings depending on the output medium).
Cheers,
rfs
