Indeed it is, but in this example we were using a different methodology. I've used liquify in another example.

PS You might want to uninstall both copies of PS Elements and Photoshop CS, then reinstall only Photoshop CS. It sounds like your CS Help file is corrupted.

Thank you for your comments.

I've exchanged a couple of emails with him and he is very professional and courteous in his responses.

In some of the Amazon reviews, some were critical because of the different sized fonts and other cosmetic stuff. That doesn't bother me at all.

I believe Ames's text is very informative and helpful, but it does contain a few bugs here and there. Unfortunately, there is no errata. So when I do stumble--to be expected when learning something new--I am never sure if I have goofed or the text is wrong. I suspect my learning is more rigorous having to ferret out some of the missing details.

I hope my chapter by chapter errata is made available to others. That said, CS3 will be out soon, and he will likely be updating his book for the newest version.
