I have 2 hensel integra pro 500 monlights with built in radio. I do mainly studio shoots now.

I would like to get a 3rd light now and was thinking of getting the Hensel Porty 1200 so I can do shoot on location as well as in studio.

My question is how compatible is the Porty with my integra lights?
Will I be able to use the same radio transmitter to trigger all 3 lights when I am in studio? Is there any considerations I should know about using the Porty with Integra lights?

I saw on adorama that the porty 1200w for 1998.95 and porty 1200w with radio for 2998. Am I missing something here because why is the version with radio costing whopping 1000 more?

Also is there a reason why we can't use one of those portable battery generators with AC outlet and plugging in a monolight into it? It would be a lot cheaper.

edit- i just saw posting on forum that hensel is coming out with battery pack for integras. Is that true? When is that coming out? Price? If I get this and another integra then it would be a lot cheaper than buying porty?

"Hensel is coming out with a portable battery pack so you will be able to take the integra's on location."

I don't see why the Porty wouldn't work into the system... I'd just get two of these Visit's though and add another Integra... That's what I plan on doing... Unless you really need something small.

I don't see why you couldn't use the transmitter to trigger all three... as long as they're all of the same generation trans/receiver.

I'm not sure on the price difference either unless more is included or it is the AS version?
