That's very odd. I belong to a Canon 20D group and we have discussed many times Canon Service. The over whelming majority have had great service that was fast and courteous. I have always had good service when I needed repairs to my Canon cameras.
Your report seems sort of vague. What exactly was the problem with the camera that caused you to need warranty service? Gives more details on the history of your service problem and exactly what you've done, etc., and perhaps one or more of us can offer advice on how to solve the problem. Also what did Canon say the problem was and what was their stated reasons for not fixing the camera or not being able to continue repair attempts.
Note: I noticed that a number of people provided advice on things to try relative to your earlier post. Did you try those things?
