One book that has lots about lighting is "Garage Glamour" by some guy named Rolando Gomez.
I've seen it advertised right here on G1
. See the Home page of this site for a clickable link to Amazon. I have one of the first copies. Very good book.
I also liked:
Lighting for Glamour Photography: A Complete Guide to Professional Techniques for Film and Digital Photography by Duncan Evans and David Kimber. However, I have the original edition, and some have complained about the poor quality printing job on the new edition.
Another really great book that I have (bought it has a Half Price Book Store) is:
"Lingerie Shots" A Guide to Professional Lighting Techniques by Roger Hicks and Frances Schultz. It has hundreds of shots and a complete lighting diagram, discussion and techniques for each shot. There are also other books in the "Pro Lighting Series" that this is part of, so look up that series. They all are similar in format.
Amazon has all three of the books, by the way. But on the last book, I believe that it was "remaindered" about a year ago, and that is why it has showed up at Half Price Books ($10 instead of $20 or more at Amazon).
I have dozens of other books on the subject but these are three of the best.
