If ANYONE is familiar with this web design program...PLEASE, please email me at

bobbygphoto@gmail.com

A friend has incorporated it on my website but no matter what size images I upload, they become compressed and pixelated...My site has been down now for close to 6 months and I am really frustrated...

Any help would be appreciated

If I could see the site and what the problem looks like I might be able to give yous some advice. I went to the site that is shown in your profile page but did not see any problems with the photos. Do you have a URL that shows the problem?
Cheers,
rfs

Roger, thanks for helping. The site in question is my G rated site www.bobbygphoto.com I have had it disabled (except for the splash page) for a few weeks now

Here is a link that will allow you to view the images uploaded with SSP. Dwayne Hills has been gracious enough to add SSP, but neither he or I can figure out WHY the images keep pixelating or compressing...

http://www.bobbygphoto.com/gallery03/portfolio02.html

this link should allow you to view the site and the images

Any help you can provide Dwayne to fix the problem will be greatly appreciated

One thing to check is the XML that gets generated. If the dimensions of the photo are wrong in the XML then that could account for the distortion. Are you using SlideShow Pro Director? If so, it might not be generating the dimensions properly. You could try comparing the size shown in the xml to the actual size of the image in pixels shown on the screen. They should be the same if things are working properly.
Cheers,
rfs

I haven't used this program but have used others like it. Take a look in the preferences and see if there is a quality setting for the image generation. If so it may be set low to keep file sizes down.

Hi, got your message, but my voice mail ate your phone number. Took a look at the link above, this is definitely a scaling problem. Are you using the SlideShow Pro director? (Thats the optional Web front-end?)
