After a couple of years of trying to find someone to shoot with me, I've fallen into the jackpot. A few of the baristas at a little coffee hut that I've been frequenting for years have decided that they wanted a portfolio to take with them to college, in case they have a chance to do any modeling. They're all friends, they were all cheerleaders, and they all begged me to help them (be still my beating heart, and wipe that silly grin off my face.)
So, being the nice guy that I am, I said yes. I had no idea what I was in for. The last 2 weeks they have been tag teaming me. They have differnt days off, different schedules, and 1 will shoot till it's time to go work, get a break, and the one coming off shift is ready to go.
Now, I have over 2200 images in RAW format waiting to be edited. "O.K.", I say to myself," you better put in some quality time on the computer and start processing."
When I inform the girls of this, they are besidethemselves."Oh, no, we've got an idea fo a shoot along the Coastal Trail, down on the mudflats that you just HAVE to shoot for us!"
Excuse me, but I HAVE to shoot a couple of girls rolling around in the mud? (drum roll, please) "Weelllll, you are going to owe me BIG time, but I'll do it."
Helllllloooo, but last time I checked, you have to pay admission in most parts of the country for this. And I get to shoot this?
So, the nest morning, we meet up about noon, and hike down the trail to a good location. For the next hour and a half, I was hard put to keep up with them. Needless to say, I had the time of my life.
I now have a ton of images to process, but I'll enclose our "end of the shoot" wrap shot. More to come in my port in the "mudflats" album as I get them processed.
