Hi guys, please don't flame the newbie if I posted this in the wrong forum. I want to upgrade my camera and I am completely lost as to what to buy. Right now I am using a Canon PRO1 but I would like something with diffrent lens options. I am partial to Canon and have access to accessories at cost. Anyway just want to here your comments. Remember I am a newbie, techy talk i have to look up to understand. Thanks.

I can tell you Bunnydude, but I'm gonna need access to those accessories at cost as well!

Okay, seriously though...what are you going to shoot? Let's start there.

Now, about those accessories...

Don't dismiss Nikon out of hand. The ergonomics of Nikon cameras are really
great and make them a joy to use. I'd try going into camera stores with some
compact flash cards and try some of the different cameras out. Take the
cards home and play with the images you took on the diffrent cameras. Try
out the class of lens you can actually afford on these cameras and see what
happens (it's not a fair test to put pro glass on one camera and junk glass on
the others.)

Since you're partial to Canon, I would recommend Canon 10D. This is a fine camera that you can get at an awesome price, used. However, get good lens. Which is on the expensive side. If you're not partial to Canon, I would recommned Nikon D50. You can get good used lens for really good prices.
