Ok,,I been using the camera now for a little over a month.trying the programmed white balance settings under different settings..mainly use the Auto White balance..but have used the cloudy day setting indoors..gives the models a very orange cast..when shooting indoors ..Would like to hear from other FujiS2 owners as to what settings you find most agreeable under what situations..

Under studio settings I do a manual white balance. Outdoors I set to auto unless I want to warm it up, then I choose Cloudy.

I too have a custom balance for my studio flashes and usually just shoot auto outdoors.

However, this past weekend I was shooing with the overcast light coming in through a windows and I think they were too blue. I should have switched to the overcast balance I think.

Randy

I usually lock the camera on a setting. I use the sunny setting for most things, the shady settings for indoor shadows, and the various incadescent and flourescent settings.

I bought a set of the Warm Cards and have loved the results with natural and studio flash. The 1/2 card works great in the studio and the 1 and 2 are great outdoors. I set Custom 1 WB for studio with the 1/2 card and leave the Custom 2 setting free for other lighting. Mostly I leave the settings in STD for color, tone and sharp. Studio lighting is a mixure of Elinchrom and Photogenic.
