Brand of camera?

I started with Nikon but made a change to Pentax as I have always loved the outstanding glass at reasonable prices. The new K10D looks like another outstanding effort.

Thought I would say, that I put down a deposit today on the new Leica M8. That way I know I will get a chance to really give it a good look when it arrives.

I downloaded all of the "facts" from Leica, and some things have me a bit concerned. But all in all, I have no plans to change cameras.

I forgot to mention in my previous posting, that I also have a 4x5 Speed Graphic, and a Kodak 8x10 studio camera with a 115mm Voitlander and Sons lens.

Gotta admit I'm a Canon addict. I've used a G III, ML and Elan 7E for years and just got a EOS 5D. However I have a colection of Minolta stuff that I've had for years and it all works well. My favorite is a X700 that I still use as well as an old X-GM. Sometimes a taste of nostalgia is good for the head and makes me appreciate the new tech and I still like film....................................mgg

If Leica is a sponsor of this website, shouldnt we also be showing this as well. Yes I do shoot Leica, I have for about 8 years now and I love the glass. I know Canon and Nikon dominate the market, you can find them in a lot more places. I cant even find an authorized Leica dealer in the state of Iowa, I think I need to move. The jobs here suck, the pay is lower, its cold in the winter, and no Leica dealers.
