I'll second the 11 X 14 , although my book is nowhere near full yet. That size with a headshot looks very good in my opinion.

I also like the Pina Zangaro line. Mine is the red acrylic with aluminum spine.

Don't forget a high end 4x6 or 5x7 book. Depending on what I am wearing I always have one of those with me. They are responsible for far more business than my 11x14. The reason is because it is with me when I really need them, while I am networking. Networking for me is anytime that I am out of the office/studio.

You might be surprised to learn who is in line with you at the bank or the coffee shop etc and when one of the employees introduces you it really counts when you can WOYB (whip out your book).

8x10 really doesnt work in serious arenas.
Hope this helps and good luck.

you recommend 9x12 for models?
I am having trouble deciding what to use to build my port, and dont have cable tv (everyone on other sites tells me to watch "8th and ocean")
How should a portfolio be presented to an agency? 9x12? in leather?...should I break it into categories(like "headshots", "casual")??
