I had a recent problem...very similar but my images were coming out black..with the cheap transmitter...guess what the problem was???? Low Batteries in the reciever!!
Try new batteries!! I hope thats the problem! it solved mine!!

Use Pocket Wizards. You can use shutter speeds up to 1/250th sec.

Foto...I think I use the same trigger as you are using....on my S2..I shoot at 1/125th with no problems..does your's have to two channels??? you might try switching channels..if its not a case of low batteries.

If you are..so am I!!! I just about freaked when my camera starting shooting black!!! I was thinking the shutter broke, the censor went south, all kinds of things...so I sent out an S.O.S PM to hixpix "Dave" his suggestion...check the batteries in the transmitter and reciever!! so you think we should have a secret hand shake for us Battery Morons??
