Hey, Does anyone make there own backgrounds? What paint do you use? I want them to be muslins. Do you dilute the paint and with what? Any ideas.
Thanks
Robert

Tried it once. Got some brown and white paint from "Big lots" and a big 'ol chunk of muslin. Think we cut the paint with water. Kept mixing the white in to make the brown lighter and lighter, so we could make a "hot spot" muslin. It worked OK, but it was just enough of a pain that I'd rather just shell out the money for pre-painted ones. It's OK if you have a large enough space to work in. Also might be easier with some practice.

Find a painter and buy one of the canvas drop cloths that they have used. Cheap, durable and can be colorful. It is a lot easier than making your own.
