I was wondering if any of the wedding shoots here know of a good company that produces the full bleed, bound type wedding albums. I do the standard wedding ablums with mats etc... but am looking to expand my album options.

So any experience with varies suppliers would be appreaciated.

thanks
john

Hi John.

We use Graphistudios in Italy......they make an awesome digital album. We have the B & G pick the photos, burn them to CD, send them off to Italy where Graphi takes over. They have a design team that lays out the whole album. They then send you a PDF file showing the complete layout for your approval. Once that is received they print it. It's in the neighborhood of 6 to 7 weeks for the whole process.
We love their product as do our brides....we've sold many high end packages based on the quality of the albums themselves.

Good luck,

Mitch

Queensberry

Don't know how this affects you, but they only serve professional photographers. That is, you need a business license and State/Federal ID to become a client.

I have not tried them yet but these look really nice. Lots of choices and sizes. They also include fully downloadable templates for the pages.

Can you give me there web address, google doesn't give them but another one in the USA same name.

What I can see your web site looks interesting, but the galleries wouldn't load. I'm on a mac and tried in safari and ie.

I contract out and do some weddings on my own. The person who is contracting me currently is a very good photographer, but I think his quality has gone down a but with the growth of his business. Chasing numbers.

I just do a few weddings a year on my own, as I also am an engineer on the Mississippi River, but will be quitting that in a few years and doing photography full time.

thanks for the reply

Hi John,

Here is the website for graphistudios: Graphistudios website

They do the best job of any of these companies in our opinion....a very classy album.

Thanks for the heads up on our website.......we've had it up for a while and haven't heard of any issues like what you've described.

Interesting.....an engineer on the Mississippi River! I'm an engineer in my real life as well, but the kind that designs parts for computers.

Best of luck to you as you make the switch......I'm hopefully headed for full time photography one of these days as well....can't wait! In the meantime, we run a rising wedding photo business.....feel free to ask questions if you have any!
