Sorry if this is a ignorant post however, I currently have a Canon Rebel "G" that works fine, but I'd like to go digital and am considering a used D60 or one of the new 10D's. My question is do I need to purchase new lenses for the Digital variety or will my current lenses work that I have for my Rebel "G" which are all Canon lenses at this point.

Thanks for the help!

All Canon EOS lenses will work with the 10D. I've been using an old 1990 Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 on my 10D since I got it yesterday. Works great

Awesome! That's what I was hoping for. I had enough to buy the camera and a few other things but not a camera and new lenses Thanks for the response..this is great news! So how do you like your new 10D. Looks to be a "hot" camera...I know I'm very interested in it.

you will want to check out the Canon EOS website and check the System Chart to verify that all your flash equipment will work properly.

The Rebel G is a Type B body. THe EX line of speedlite flashes work best with the Type A bodies - Rebel 2000, Ti, Elan 7, EOS 3, EOS 1V, and all DSLRs back to the D30.

the D60 and the 10D can use the same lenses, but when you see how good they do, you will want to upgrade your lenses...
