I have a customer who wants a canvas print (not sure of the size she wants yet). Who do you trust for these prints (preferrably with the option to have the canvas come already stretched on a frame). Where have you gotten good results?

Greg

This is not the photo or the customer Just a fun image.

I use HS Photo...

And better yet you they are in ATL...

I have seen great stuff from them... BUT... They WILL correct your stuff back to "clean" and remove any warmth or "feel" you give an image... so make sure you tell them to leave it alone, if that is the way you like it...

For some reason they think they know how I want it better than I do!?!?!

But once you get past that... I love them... Great prices, but slow on production...

Later...

I second Chris' comments. Portraits are their primary business, so they tend to "correct" the tone to get the skin tones "right." But if you tell them to print with no correction they will. You can use an on-line image submission program (ROES) that works well. It allows you to select your product, processing, cropping, etc. They're not far from your office, either.

White House. www.WHCC.com

Their primary canvas is taking the emulsion off a print and putting that onto canvas. They should be offering their direct printing onto canvas by now.

Others use H&H or ACI.
