Just got done running a new test with the tripod and using the nikon 28-70 lens , 1/60 f4 or 5.6

I must say that MY D100 and MY nikon 28-70 lens no longer work "like the day I got them"

D100 and nikon 80-200 2.8 still SEEMS to work OK
D100 and nikon 85 1.8 prime Just OK or slightly less than OK
Mind you I was using a tripod tonight , never had to before

Also used the same lenses on my newly acquired S3 and HANDHELD, images were far better
