I was just looking at an old Popular Photography from December 1996 and I saw an article on the "Top" digital cameras of the day. I'll just pick one to describe to you. The Canon Power Shot 600 which offers a resolution of 832 X 608 pixels at 24 bits/pixel color in high-res mode, 640x840 in low-res, and 832x608 in monochrome images in text mode. If you think your digital camera has a slow recycle rate, the Canon Power Shot 600 allows you to take a picture every 7 seconds. It allows you to take from 4 - 15 images on its 4MB PC ype 1/2/3 card. Anyways, just thought that I'd share that with you so that you can keep in mind that you camera may not be so bad, if it's old. Canon has made some good cameras, but comparitively, this one ain't crap to what's out today. And just remember, I just upgraded to a film camera with auto focus, it's my first one, so don't feel too bad.
