Hmmmmmmmmmmm.................something not go the way you'd like it to go?

Try using them on manual mode.. I almost never ever use any type of automated flash because they almost always seem to get all snafu on you..

Hope that works for you..

Sorry to hear about your Sunpak, I've been using mine for over a year now and it works great. Using it on a Canon A2 (film)

I've even used it to shoot high school B Ball, lit up to half court well.

What does a system like that run,.$..and what do you all have to get,...and how much power.. "GN" is it... I'm thinking about picking something like that up..

I've used Quantum Q-Flash,....(that I accidentally ripped the cord out when pulling it out of a 200B pack.. )....that worked great with the old Canon pre-ETTL system......besides,...the head is too old to have up graded... I'm looking at about a thousand bucks for a new Quantum Q-Flash kit made for the new digital Canon bodies..

JP, I was talking about the same pz5000af flash unit as Jayson. Its not thier bare bulb unit. It is an on camera flash

PZ5000af

Works good for what little shooting I do.

Hello Jayson,

If you get the 283s make sure to get a VP-1 for it. It allows you to manually vary the power output. It really increases the versatility of the flash a lot.
