Okay we took this pic last month, and I really like it, but the natural light to me seems a bit harsh.... What do you think?

i don't really know what you mean by "harsh." the colors are a bit flat, i.e., mostly the skin tones. but not overly so. the exposure looks good and it's not too contrasty if that's what you mean.

I think its fine. Try a darker version and the colors will come in richer. And you will pick up more detail in the highlights and water.

Nice shot, she really seems to be enjoying herself unlike many models who seems to be freezing or not relaxed in the water.

I went to PS and pulled the middle slider over to .68 in levels and really like that much better. Try it and lets us know what you think.
