I am wanting to add a "high energy" metallic type set to my studio. I have a painted and textured wall, a wall with some chair rail on it for a rich appearance, white background paper with a white board on it to keep it from tearing, and an old master's background. I want to add something with some specularity and punch to it for some images with more "energy".

If anyone has any ideas on how to put something like this together and light it I would really like to hear them. I tried some construction insulation boards that come with foil on one side, but the results were not spectacular.

Thanks for the help,

Daryl

try sheets of corrigated aluminum rivetted together. Cheap, easy, and pretty cool.

How about some mirror reflective mylar?...it comes in rolls, is easy to work with and it really does a job on throwing light around...Rolando used it on his Joanne shot among others...here is one that I used it on...lined the floor of the shooting bay...it runs around $29 a roll for 4 ft X 25 ft I think...if interested, let me know and I can send you a link for it...
