You can go to a paint store or large hardware chain store and pick up some of the paint sample cards. If you pick carefully you can find some that are about like the warm cards. You can also print your own on an inkjet printer on card stock and those work quite well. In fact, with the print your own method, you can try all sorts of different shades to get different color balances.

But I find it is often easier to just shoot RAW, and then you can pick whatever white balance you want when you do the RAW conversion.

Cheers,
rfs

There's no such thing. My set came from 2 sources. I have the plus set from Warm Cards and the full set from Macie Video. Now these are for video cameras not still cameras but I don't think there is a difference. It's all colour temperature. If you do a lot of shooting under fluorescent I would definetly suggest the plus set from Warm Cards. I lost a set a while back at Casino Niagara so keep an eye out on E-Bay. They might turn up there. Once you've tried them you'll never go without them. I showed them to client a while back and he liked the look so much that he called his regular crew and told them to order a set right a way.

Look for a home improvement store (like Lowe's) that carries Olympic paints... Olympic produces color sample cards that are about 4 inches by 5 inches in various shades of blue... Get some other colors to experiment with also...
