OK here goes…

I am shooting a school, about 100 kids… it is going really well…

I will be doing proofs… for the parents to pick from…

I have created this action that will create what is in the image… Don’t worry, it is my kid…

Now the question.

How can I add a text layer to the image using the file name?? Can it even be done within the action... No way I am typing this out for all the hundreds of images...??

Thanks in advance…

Christopher North

I use BreezeBrowser Pro for this sort of thing. It has the watermark feature and you can include whatever info you want directly from the **** data including the filename, etc. It can also be done from Photoshop CS2 by using the Scripts Dr Brown's Caption maker added to the Scripts menu.

Cheers,
rfs

Christopher, you can use the contact sheet generator. Set it up so it only produces one image per page and it will add the file name for you along the bottom...David
