Does anyone know how to set up Print sharing on a printer plugged in to a PC?
I have an old HP printer hooked up to a PC for most of my document, estimate type printing but I do most of my work from my Mac (OSX). Both computer are running through a router and I've turned sharing on on the PC printer but I still can't see it from the Mac. I've done this before but I can't rmember what I'm missing...

You have to make sure they are both in the same workgroup. At least that is what it is called on a pc. I dont know if there is anything else you need to do for a mac as I have always been a PC guy

You first have to mark the printer as shared from the Window's PC it's attached to. Then it will show up when you choose to Add a Network printer on the MAC side. I generally find it easier to just have a router with a print sever added or built in and then the printer is more easily used from all computers from attached to the router.
Cheers,
rfs
