I shot in a few diferent apertures on a tripod and I just don't see a diference as to the best sharpness. What have others found ?

Mike,

What differences are you looking for or have heard about? The 70-200 f2.8 is the most used lens in my bag, even with my new D2X.

In the mag " Photo Graphic " thre was a story on 11 tips for Maximizing sharpness. One of the things was finding the sweet spot aperture. They said most times you need to stop down 2 or 3 stops from max aperture to find the sweet spot to get the sharpest results in an image. I just don't see much of a diference with my lens..Thats all..
