Supposedly this camera is being sold for less than $300. I've read it uses interpolation to achieve 10 mega pixels but I'm not 100% sure I understand what that means.

I'm not looking into this for professional photography, it's mainly because my employer was going to get it and asked me about it.

Comments? Suggestions?

Anything would be appreciated. Thanks

I think i saw it in a catalog once.. It is really a 1.0 or 2.0 Megapixel camera and the rest is interpolated... For $300 I would think you would be better off getting a 5.0 Megapixel model and get much better quality...

Stay with the main players. Although, my wife uses a Casio 5MP that fits easily into her handbags and does a great job for family and friends photos. It has a 2.7 inch LCD (she is far sighted) and goes about 400 captures on a full charge.

I feel that 5 MP is large enough for most casual shooters.

My bet is that the B&H is slow as snot on a cold day!
