As a good flat panel/LCD monitor to use in conjunction w/ color correction of images?? If anyone has any experience or advice, please share.....I currently have a huge CRT, but would like something a little less bulky, but gives me the same results. My experience w/ doing color correction on a laptop screen has always been just a little off, so I don't want to go down that road w/ a LCD or flat panel....any info is appreciated...Thanks!!!

Take a look at the Viewsonic VP191b. It is an excellent flat panel monitor for photo work.

Chris

I have an NEC Multisync LCD that's 21 inches. I have no problem dialing it in and it looks great. You can imagine how large a 21 monitor would be...

Look out for

Samsung 193P or DELL UltraSharp 1905FP (19)

DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW (20)

DELL - Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW (24)

all are good monitors

AND (if you can afford it) check out EIZO or NEC (they have lcd with adobe rgb gamut) but are VERY expensive

Look at the Apple line. They will be more expensive but they are built with the photographer and other image professionals in mind
