What did you want to know? I use Photoshop as my software for doing knockouts. If you light the chroma key stuff properly you can get an excellent knockout. But I usually just shoot on a white background and if you make sure to blow the background out and that little or no spill comes from the background, then you can easily do a fast knockout in just a few seconds in Photoshop.

I use black and white backgrounds for this use. works best for me.

As has been said, often a grey background will work well...or even a color similair to what you plan on adding for the bg.

The key with green screen is to get the model far enough away to avoid any spill or reflection of the green on the model.
