So my Polaris meter stopped triggering my flash. It was a cheep meter so it's no real surprise. So I need a new one that's better then what I have but will not send me to the poor house. Any ideas as to a model that might fit my price range ? I am looking for one around $200

Doesn't your camera have one built-in?

I am used to the meter. And in the studio you need a meter.

Sekonic L-358, goes for just over $200, if you have Pocket Wizard technology in it, another $50 gets you sync'd with the Wi technology in the light meter

if you got the bling, L-558R is currently best for the dollar on the market I think.... just....more dollars...all in all about $450 of them, but a digital ready meter with spot and transmitter built in

my $0.02
