Windows Picture Viewer...fast and full screen and is right there since I transfer images from the CF card with Windows Explorer. With a click of the mouse it allows editing to Photoshop or any program. Lastly...it was free as it comes with the computer!

PhotoMechanic by CameraBits, it's much better than any of those you have listed. It is designed for use by photojournalists (the people who pioneered digital SLR use) so some of it's cooler features may be on no use to you.

Another vote for PhotoMechanic. Blazing fast and great integration with RAW formats and Photoshop. Well worth the price of admission. Dave and Chainsaw give it two thumbs up!

Windows viewer is good for just that "viewing" and also rotating, but Photomechanic is far better for sorting and working on. So, in my book Photomechanic is the way to go.

is a very cool program even though the maker pulled a major blunder that dissed all us original buyers...

I still use it...

I use IrfanView, it is fast, has a few cool features and is free.

A second vote for IrfanView. Very fast and easy to use. Great for full screen views. Great for batch resizing and renaming. Only fault is that you can't set the proportions when cropping (or if you can, someone please tell me). I use PS for that when I need to control a crops aspect ratio. I use Irfanview frequently for quick screen grabs for my day job also.

Make that three votes. I think Irfanview is winning. It does quite a bit of stuff. And has hotkeys too. A simple hit of the F key and it goes from full screen to full size, and then back again. Even shows EXIF data if you hit the I key.

Make that now 4 votes for Irfanview. I think I've been using it for 7 or 8 years now. The main thing that turned me on to it was that it was free. Now I like the fact of all the extras the programmer has put on it. Like I can now view some .avi's that I can't view through Windows XP. It's quick and very simple to use. When your viewing a file hit Enter to make it full screen, hit the Space Bar to go forward, hit Backspace to go backwards, hit Esc to get out of full screen. You can also change the settings of how you view things.
