I'm posting because I have read conflicting information and figure YOU all have been my best resource by far so I'm asking::

I have a Canon EOS 630 35mm, does it use the same lens mount as the Canon 20D? I'm asking because I want to use my current lenses. I believe their both the same EF mount. any clarification would be great.

A Canon EOS EF lens fits any EF mount camera. The 20D will also take the few EF-S lenses out there. Occasionally you'll run into an FD lens, but there's plenty of EF lenses to choose from.

Yes,.. to everything..but not to confuse Tim,.. Do not buy any FD mound Canon lenses because they will not fit into your EF mount on your body unless you get an adaptor,... but forget that.. They won't have any auto focus,..(because they are all manual lenses), camera metering, or flash metering capability with your current Canon cameras..

The ES-S mount lenses are designed specifically for the digital SLR cameras that have the 1.6 cropping factor and have the EF-S mount.. 10D, D60, & D30 bodies all use the 1.6 cropping format but they don't have a mount designed to use the EF-S mount lenses.. which is another reason why I'm selling my remaining 10D body..

Your 630 is a decent camera BTW..

I owned the 620 body for several years which is very much like the 630..

I still have a 620 that I use inside a soundproof blimp for shooting production stills for the movie industry. Never had a problem with it.
