Just received my two Hensel Integra 500 Pros Monday. Went to play with them today in hopes of a model coming over to shoot tomorrow. Modeling light wouldn't come on again on one unit after working great for about five minutes. Switched bulb to the working unit. Bulb came on. Ok not the bulb, must be an internal problem. Called to get an RMA number for an exchange, probably have to two weeks for the whole exchange process to go through. Great. While packing unit I noticed a U.S number on the warranty card. Called them and he said it could be the fuse. So I switched the fuse box with the working unit. Low and behold modeling light didn't come on. Great problem solved. Then I noticed that there is a spare fuse. Switched fuses, Bamb! modeling light came on for a second, then went off. Ok this unit is burning fuses. Grabbed the manuel and went to radio shack to get spare fuses. If it blows a few more. Then off it goes. Looked at manuel and said Integra Pro uses 4A fuses. Looked at fuse box. 2A fuses came from the factory. Purchased the 4A fuses, placed them in the unit. Yeah, works great.

The 2 amp fuse is probably for the 240 Volt models for Europe.

Exactly: The two amp is for the Expert Pro I wish someone would have known that at the factory before they sent it.

"German technology"....Oooooh! .....LOL!! That reminds me of my friend's Volkswagen...nick named "The fall apart car".. Yep, they made some nice rockets...but that was 50 years ago..

Send them a bill for the fuses you had to buy that didn't come with your lights..and for each mile you traveled in getting them..

Better yet send them a scathing letter about how you had hear such great things about their lights and finally ordered a pair, which only arrived one day before a big shoot, and then go into this fiasco story about how their incompetence nearly ruined the shoot and cost you another $3,000 and help up production because you had to send an assistant to the radio shack, like 35 miles away, to get the fuses. and tell them you want compensation or they can have their damned lights and you'll just tell every photographer you know how sucky their QC is....

It worked when I broke one of those "unbreakable" ketchup bottles....and that was anly like $3.20....

I've been considering purchasing a set myself. Post images when you get a chance and share your experiences, thoughts, etc. Would love to hear real world expereinces, good and bad. Congratulations!

Hey Joey, I loved those Hensel Rolando had at Cypress, but I light Mono lights so I am getting a set (of 3) of the Integra Pro Plus as soon as they hit the US.

I have already bought a Hensel Beauty Ring, care to come check them out (after I get them)?
