I will be traveling in Great Britian in a couple of months and will only be able to take my Canon 20D and another body for Black and White film. My concern is that I can't take a laptop and given the destinations and nature of the trip have no idea of computer access. I expect to take more photos than my memory cards capacity will allow, especially since I'll be shooting a good number in RAW format for a book editor. Anyone have suggestions on a way to save photos to another media or should I just buy a few dozen large memory cards?

If you think you'll have access to a computer for few minutes once in two days or so (depending on your memory cards capacity) this would work.

Get an extrnal hard drive (about 200GB or more) and take it with you. You also need a card reader. You can build an expernal hard drive easily by using this and this for less than $175.

be shure the imagetank can handle raw files
for flashtrax infos: http://www.smartdisk.com/eWeb/smartd...hTrax1.asp#FAQ

I own a flashtrax. Its good but needs a lot of power. So take a power adapter with you. Batteries last not more than 3h.

Look for business centers and/or local hotel. They can likely burn CDs with the info on your cards. Don't forget to do a check of the info that is burned onto the CDs..

I second the P-2000. I have taken mine all over the world with me. The charger works on both 110v and 220v. Buy an extra battery or two.
