Looking for some feedback or samples on the canon rebel xt. I dont own a dSLR but do have a couple lenses, so not worried about the kit lens that comes with the package. Im a student on a budget so i'm thinkin of picking up the 350d to save a few dollars opposed to the 20d and use the savings on a new lens.

I have both. Using the same lens on both, I can't tell any difference in the photos. I bought the 350D as a backup to my 20D and am extremely happy with it. The 20D is definately built more sturdy, but the 350D is a very nice camera. If you are on a budget, I would definately recommend the 350D. It is also more compact and makes a nice carry camera.

I played with one the other day. too small for my hands...I felt like I was holding an egg and trying to shot with it.

20D much better when it comes to actual comfort of shooting...but if comfort is not your main point, then it will work fine. I just shoot too much to not be comfortable while shooting

haha.. i went to bestbuy today to check it out.. it did feel a little small in my hands as well. i own a canon G5 so im sort of used to the feel. i think ill go for it.. at least ill save a few dollars for some new glass. then maybe purchase the next coming 30D/40D or rebel 400D/500D and use the 350D as backup..
